How to get tickets to Skyline-Oaks Christian, and more

There figures to be a lot of interest among UW fans in the Skyline-Oaks Christian game Sept. 18 with the visitors featuring two highly-rated players who have already committed to become Huskies — quarterback Nick Montana and offensive tackle Erik Kohler.
So wanted to pass along the ticket info that we received today.
According to the school, tickets will go on sale to the general public tomorrow (Tuesday) from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Tickets have to be purchased on campus at the bookkeeper’s office. No phone orders. No credit cards. Cash or check only. All tickets are $15 each. There is a 10 ticket maximum purchase. And there are about 800 tickets available to the general public.
If you don’t get tickets, you can still see the game as it will be televised live on ESPNU. Gametime is 7 p.m.
IN OTHER NEWS. …
— Former Husky Tony Parrish was among 18 players today officially added to the Las Vegas entry in the new United Football League. The only other UW alum I’ve seen in the league is RB Rich Alexis with the New York franchise.
— LSU also released an updated depth chart today and the Times-Picayune offers this breakdown.
— Here’s an Associated Press wrapup of Steve Sarkisian’s press conference today.
— And here’s a brief recap of Les Miles’ press conference today.
All for now.
