How to get to the game

Took a few hours to go on a hike with the kids on what was the last day before school — and a surprisingly nice one, at that.
But I’ll now get a few things up on the blog before the practice tonight.
And I’ll start with a link to a page from GoHuskies.com that explains alternate ways to get to the game other than just driving your car. A few of you had asked me questions about it so hopefully this answers your questions. I really don’t know anything other than what’s included there.
ANOTHER GOOD WAY TO GET TO THE GAME — I’ll also pass along what sounds like a fun way to get to the game, the Ivar’s Salmon House infamous (their words), round-trip Husky Brunch Cruises.
A press release describes this as “a rite of passage in which eager fans dine on a scrumptious brunch at Ivar’s Salmon House, and then hit the restaurant’s dock to be picked up and whisked to the game by boat. Before jumping aboard, fans huddle over a bountiful brunch of alder-roasted salmon, fresh mussels, oysters and clams, Dungeness crab, shrimp, a carving station with alder-roasted prime rib and country style ham. There’s also a crepe and omelet station, French toast, waffles, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, salads and baked breads, Ivar’s famous clam chowder and more.
Ivar’s Salmon House Husky Brunch Cruises are $39.95 for cruise/brunch package (kids 12 & under pay $24.95 for the package) or $15 for the cruise only. For reservations, contact (206) 632-0767.
