Ticket update, and where to watch the game in LA and elsewhere

I have a quick ticket update from the UW ticket office to pass along:
UW officials say they about 2,000 tickets left for tomorrow’s game with LSU and that they Will likely release some more season-ticket holds at the end of today. They say they will need a big last minute rush/walk-up to sell it out completely, but that it will certainly be a big crowd nonetheless.
They report they’ve had a busy week with season tickets sales — up to about 40,450 non-students. It has been particularly active with student season tickets; the traditional student section is almost sold out which would surpass last year’s total sales.
Also, they say that about 8,000 tickets were sold directly to LSU as part of that school’s visiting team allotment, and another 2,000 to to customers from the state of Louisiana. And there are likely other tickets that also found their way into the hands of LSU fans, meaning at least 10,000 and probably a few more. It’s expected to be a visiting team turnout comparable to the Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Notre Dames of the past few years.
UW FANS MEET IN LA — Also, a reader wanted me to pass along Husky fans in LA will meet at Shark’s Cove in Manhattan Beach. There will be a section reserved for UW fans.
UPDATE — And here is a complete list of viewing parties from the UW Alumni Association.
