On to week two. …
— My story today focused on the performance turned in Saturday by Jake Locker.
— EWPN.com’s Ted Miller says this is the week the Huskies get back in the win column.
Nick Daschel gives the Huskies a B on his week one report card.
— This AP roundup has an interesting quote from UW RB Chris Polk I didn’t hear Saturday night (for what it’s worth, the deadline crunch afterward due to the late start impacted our post-game routine quite a bit.) Anyway, Polk says “last year we had the talent we just didn’t have the coaches to showcase it. Now we have the coaches that actually do that.”
Isaiah Stanback was signed by the Patriots as a QB and says he’s excited to return to his favorite position. Marcel Reece and Greyson Gunheim were signed to the Raiders’ practice squad.
UW will hold its regular Monday luncheon today at noon so I’ll have more later from there, if not before.
