Quick practice update

Practice isn’t yet completed but I had a family obligation today so I only stayed for a half-hour or so.
The team was in doors and not in full pads, going through what looked like a typically quick-paced workout but one that would be light on contact.
DE Darrion Jones was not participating after suffering a bruised knee in the game. But Nate Williams and Greg Walker were each out there, In fact, they appeared to be the first two safeties with the No. 1 unit, though I fully expect to see a lot of combinations there this week as they sort that position out, as was discussed earlier. I saw Justin Glenn get some reps at safety, as well.
If I hear of more from practice later I will pass it along.
Also, in case you missed it earlier, the Seahawks today signed former Husky CB Roy Lewis to their practice squad.
Lastly, Ted Miller had this today on the Oregon-LeGarrette Blount situation, I pass it along in part because a few of us talked with UW AD Scott Woodward at practice today and he said he had high praise for the way Oregon handled the situation. However, he said wasn’t as complimentary of Boise State and the WAC, saying each should have done something more in regards to possible punishment for Bronco player Byron Hout.
