Quick practice update

The Huskies are off the field after a two-hour practice at Husky Stadium this afternoon that featured some rather windy conditions at the end.
I’ll be back with a more complete report later, but just wanted to pass along that there is no significant personnel news today.
About the most noteworthy thing is that DE Darrion Jones did not practice again today making it increasingly unlikely that he will start Saturday against Idaho. Kalani Aldrich continues to play in his place (and for those who have asked about Everrette Thompson, he is the backup on the other side and the coaches consider the two positions fairly different).
LB Matt Houston and CB Matt Mosley were back, but both worked primarily with the scout team as they work their way back into playing shape.
The safety spot remains a jumble. Nate Williams is sure to start at one spot, either free or safety. But the other remains up for grabs. Justin Glenn got a lot of work with the starting unit today alongside Williams, but that was in part to give him some reps with the ones and he see how he did. Greg Walker and Victor Aiyewa usually worked as the No. 2
safeties.
The rest of the lineup on offense and defense looked the same.
Sarkisian also said that OL Skyler Fancher recently had surgery on his ankle and is likely out for the year.
More later.
