Looks like no live TV for Stanford game

The school has just announced that it looks like there will be no live television for the Stanford game Sept. 26 and that kickoff is likely to remain at 6 p.m. — the usual start time for Stanford games that aren’t televised.
Here’s a release from the school with some details.
Some games are selected for TV during the summer. Those that aren’t are then selected six or 12 days prior to kickoff. But when the selections came today, the UW-Stanford game was not picked. One game that was selected was WSU at USC, which will be the FSN night game. The Arizona-Oregon State game was also picked up today by Versus.
As UW’s release states, a deal could have been brokered to have the game televised regionally by FSN-Northwest, but only if Stanford agreed to move the start time. Stanford apparently didn’t want to do that, keeping it at 6 p.m., which means no local FSN-NW telecast.
UW’s game Saturday against USC will be televised regionally, the 29th straight game that has been on live TV. The last UW game not to be televised live was the 2006 home loss to Stanford, the “Suddenly Senior” game.
