Huskies nine-point underdogs at Stanford

UW may be ranked No. 24 in the AP poll and riding high. But they are also at this moment a nine-point underdog against Stanford next Saturday, according to the opening line here from VegasInsider.com.
That’s a little higher than I thought it would be — I figured Stanford by 4-6 points or so — and I would, uh. bet that comes down quickly.
And in case it had slipped your notice, the UW-Stanford game will be a battle for first place in the Pac-10 as each is 1-0 in conference play — the only two 1-0 teams in the conference (Stanford beat Washington State in its opener a couple weeks ago).
Here are the other Pac-10 lines:
USC by 43 over visiting Washington State
Arizona by 2.5 at Oregon State (another line that also seems a little off)
Cal by 7 at Oregon
Georgia by 13 over Arizona State
UCLA is off this week
