Where are you watching the game; and some Friday links

I’m heading to the airport soon so may not be able to post anything on here for a few hours, so I’ll make this a dual-purpose post.
First, I’ve gotten some requests from some of you to post viewing parties and the like, particularly with the TV situation for this one not being ideal.
Frankly, the only info I get on that kind of stuff is from you guys — I don’t have an official list or anything I can provide. One I was told by a reader is Johnny’s Sports Bar in Edmonds, right next to the ferry dock.
And also told again that in LA, the Sharkscove, aka “Sarkscove”, In Manhattan Beach will have the game, as well.
So I’ll throw this thread open for any of you to advertise in the comments section if you know of some place that plans to show the game Saturday.
Now, on to some links. …
— Here’s our story for today with various news and notes, including a look at Stanford’s offensive line.
Josh Shirley discussed his trip to UW last weekend with ESPN’s Greg Biggins. He says it was nice but he still considers USC and UCLA his favorites. Shirley was the only official visitor last week.
Bud Withers writes about the challenges of being an AP voter. I can’t find a link to it, but Bud also picked Stanford 31-27 in the paper today and had UW fourth in his power rankings behind Cal, UCLA and Arizona State.
— Here’s a story on Stanford LB Clinton Snyder, quoting him saying that “whatever they got for us, we’ll be ready for it.”
Ted Miller says Donald Butler would be an All-Pac-10 First Team pick if selections were made today.
— Three members of Stanford’s 1982 team, who beat a No. 1 ranked UW squad, will lead the Cardinal team walk before Saturday’s contest.
— The National Football Post rates Jake Locker the No. 1 draft prospect for 2010.
— I was a guest on The Solid Verbal yesterday if you like to hear rambling about college football.
— Lots of good Pac-10 links from Ken Goe.
Now it’s off to the airport. I’ll have my pick of the game, as well as a few other notes and quotes, later.
