A few quotes from Jake Locker

Here are a few quotes from Jake Locker:
— “We just got beat on both sides of the ball and turned the ball over.”
— Of his interceptions he said: “I made a couple of poor decisions and we just weren’t able to execute like we wanted to.”
— On the first intterception he said “we got what we wanted and I just threw it to the wrong guy.”
— Of the second one he said “I probably should have just thrown the ball away. It was kind of a broken play and at that point in the game trying too hard to make something happen.”
— On a possible letdown: “I didn’t. I thought we had a good week of practice mentally and physically. I felt really good about where we were. We just didn’t get it done tonight.”
— He said he didn’t think the opening kickoff was a huge momentum killer pointing out UW drove down the field until he threw that interception. “I think if we score on that drive and are able to convert, it’s a whole different ball game.”
— Of how the team reacts to this loss: “It’s not somethinig that we are going to accept and it’s not going to become what happens around here. We are not okay with it and we have to figure out a way to fix it. .. we’ve got to come back and have a great week of practice and go out and turn it around.”
