No Husky Warm Up this week

Some of you have asked about tailgating opportunities this week at Notre Dame.
The official word from the UW Alumni Association is that there will be no Husky Warm Up at Notre Dame.
Here’s the explanation:

Due to budget constraints and to sustain our Pac-10 Warm Ups schedule, the UWAA will not host a Washington Warm Up at Notre Dame this year. For travel arrangements and travel company party options, please contact Anthony Travel or Northwest Travel.
The Husky Marching Band will perform in front of the main entrance to the College Football Hall of Fame from 11-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 3 before the game. For directions, visit the College Hall of Fame site.

Some of you have asked about unofficial events. I don’t know of any, but as we’ve done in the past, feel free to use the comments section of this entry to pass along any you may know of.
UPDATE — A reader just alerted me to this entry from the Notre Dame web site detailing official activities on campus this weekend.
