Monday a.m. links

The first Monday of the second half of the season. …
— For my story for today, I tried to wrap up Saturday’s action as concisely as possible (for the night games, some editions don’t get the final story so some repetition of material is necessary).
Ted Miller rates UW sixth in the Pac-10.
— ESPN also projects UW to the Las Vegas Bowl. CBSSports.com, meanwhile, sends UW to the Texas Bowl as a replacement team.
Nick Daschel gives Washington a B for the weekend and also writes that there is “no burying these Huskies.”
— The Arizona Daily Star provides a picture it says casts some doubt as to the call on the Mason Foster interception. (But as UW fans found out last week, doesn’t really matter much one way or the other once the call is made). ESPN’s Miller has his own take on that controversy.
— The Arizona Republic looks at the weekend that was for Arizona State.
— The Republic also looks at ASU’s QB situation — sounds like the team is sticking with Danny Sullivan despite another sluggish outing Saturday in Pullman.
— It was Scott Wolf, the USC beat writer for the LA Daily News, who voted for Idaho in the AP poll this week.
We’ll have much more later today. It is expected a kickoff time and TV for the Oct. 24 Oregon game will be announced, and we’ll also have notes and quotes from the regular Monday press luncheon.
