Monday practice report

It was a cool one for UW out at Husky Stadium, the players in jerseys and shorts — no pads — preparing for Saturday’s game at Arizona State, where temperatures are expected to be as high as 100.
And in a welcome sight for Husky fans, a trio of key regulars were also back at practice — Nate Williams, D’Andre Goodwin and Johri Fogerson. Williams was again running with the No. 1 unit at safety alongside Nate Fellner while Goodwin and Fogerson took their regular turns with the offense.
Adam Long appeared to be again getting work at cornerback with the No. 1 defense and Darrion Jones took most of the reps at one DE spot though Talia Crichton rotated in a few times. Otherwise, the lineups looked status quo (and that includes Cameron Elisara and E.J. Savannah, who each suffered stingers Saturday).
IN OTHER NEWS. …
Mason Foster was named as the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week for his play against Arizona, which included the game-winning interception and a game-high 11 tackles. He’s the second UW defender to win the award this year joining Donald Butler, who was honored following the USC game.
— UW officials report that 62,500 tickets have been sold for the next home game against Oregon, Oct. 24, which is also UW’s Homecoming. So obviously lots of seats left.
— Vegas wasn’t real impressed by the Huskies Saturday. After the ASU game went on the board as ASU by three, it is already up to Devils by 6.5 in some sports books.
All for now.
