Friday links — off to Tempe

This is a travel day for the team and those of us who follow it, so there won’t be as much activity on the blog as some days.
But I will have an entry on the pick later, and maybe a Q-and-A.
And before I go, a few links. …
Percy Allen filled in for me at practice Thursday and filed this report looking at how UW”s special teams need to improve.
Steve Kelley penned this column on walk-on LB Brandon Huppert’s rise to scholarship status and unfortunate injury against USC.
Bud Withers says UW is among the biggest surprises in the country this season.
— Here’s an ASU injury update — guard Garth Gerhart, brother of Stanford’s Toby, won’t play against UW Saturday. Any injury is unfortunate but UW fans probably figure they’ve seen enough of the Gerhart family this season.
— Here’s an AP preview of the game while the East Valley Tribune has its Gameday Preview posted already.
— Here’s the UW Daily’s preview
— A guy at SBRForum.com says the wrong team is favored in this one.
— Another nuts and bolts preview.
— ESPN’s Greg Biggins looks at a few Oakland Tech prospects, including UW commit WR DiAndre Campbell. (And that’s not to be confused with Deandre Coleman).
— Lots of interesting Pac-10 news and links from Ken Goe.
— ESPN says the SEC is the best conference in the country. Not sure I agree though that’s a discussion for another day as the plane awaits.
All for now.
