Monday practice notes

Washington has concluded its Monday practice, the usual hour-or-so workout, this one inside the Dempsey Indoor. The Huskies were not in pads, so no contact.
No real surprises personnel wise. DT Cameron Elisara, battling a stinger, remained in red and on the sidelines, so he has not yet been cleared to play. Otherwise, pretty much as expected. LB E.J. Savannah wore his jersey but was not doing anything, standing off to the side. His cast appeared smaller than last week, however, so maybe he’s prepping to give it a shot. S Jason Wells did not participate, but that was expected as he is resting his sore foot. He is expected to be able to play this week.
Drew Schaefer and Ben Ossai appeared to rotate with the ones at left tackle but the rest of the lineups seemed status quo.
Also, UW AD Scott Woodward said that he did send an inquiry to the Pac-10 office about the non-review of the Terrence Austin catch, referenced in the earlier entry.
He didn’t have an official comment on what he was told other than to say that he is “very pleased with how (new Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott) reacts to constructive criticism. He is striving for the same thing I am, which is better officiating.”
