Late-night links

It was a chilly drive into Oregon tonight, but at least it wasn’t too wet.
And that’s how it’s supposed to be tomorrow, the forecast calling for a high of 43 but no rain.
I have more driving to do in the morning, so I’ll pass along a few links now in case there’s no time then.
— My preview story for the game focused in part on the emergence of OSU QB Sean Canfield and the impact of that on Oregon State’s offense.
— Here’s the gameday preview from The Oregonian.
— The Corvallis Gazette-Times looks at OSU’s improved defensive end play.
— The Corvallis paper also had a column the other day on Steve Sarkisian and his efforts to revive the UW program.
— It’s the last home game for a dozen OSU seniors — and more evidence UW isn’t the only young team around.
— Lucky Lester says the Beavers “are the Huskies worst nightmare.”
— The season is over for O’Dea High and future Huskies Ben Riva and Zach Fogerson, after a surprising loss to Liberty. But Bothell advanced with an easy win over Rogers thanks in part to two TDs from future Husky Michael Hartvigson.
Nick Montana was 10-21 for 220 yards with a TD and two interceptions as Oaks Christian rolled to an easy win to capture the Tri-Valley League title. Oaks Christian could still play five more games.
Talk to you next from Reser.
