My Top 25

Finally some movement at the top of my poll as I have come to the same conclusion as some of my fellow pollsters that Alabama looks like the best team in the SEC right now.
So I’ve switched Alabama and Florida, leaving Texas at No. 2. this week. The beauty of the Alabama-Florida debate is that those two teams will decide it on the field on Dec. 5 in the SEC title game.

It’s hard to go strictly with head-to-head in the Pac-10 now as the conference truly is beating each other up each week. But hard to deny what Stanford has done the last two weekends, and I felt as if their win over Oregon just eight days ago meant the Cardinal should be ranked ahead of the Ducks.
I sided with leaving Arizona in my poll instead of USC, as the majority of the rest of the pollsters did, and also felt like the Wildcats should be ahead of Oregon State since they did win in Corvallis a few weeks ago. So that’s why I have those two where I do.
I’m a rare pollster still voting for West Virginia. But its loss at Cincy Saturday was close (24-21 and also in the stats) and on the road, and seemed
