Future Huskies fill up Star Times teams

The Seattle Times area football all-star teams — dubbed Star Times — are being revealed for Tuesday’s paper.
And as you might expect, there are a few future Huskies included.
Here’s the offensive team, and it contains three players who have committed to the Huskies — Bothell’s Michael Hartvigson and Colin Porter and O’Dea’s Ben Riva. The bios on the link include stats and other info on each player.
I can already anticipate questions about Zach Fogerson and why he’s not on the team. I had nothing to do with picking the teams, but I’m sure it’s mostly because Fogerson was injured much of the year and played in only parts of six games.
Here are Fogerson’s stats, detailing when he did play. The Star Times is based on production during the year and is not intended to just necessarily single out the players with the best college potential — often that’s one and the same, but injury obviously impacts production during a season.
And here’s the defensive team, which doesn’t contain any players committed yet to UW, but does include one who has an offer — junior DL Taniela Tupou of Archbishop Murphy. Another question I can anticipate is where is Auburn’s Chris Young. Obviously, his suspension is the reason for his absence here.
Also, the team does not encompass Pierce County schools, so none of the Lakes High guys committed to UW are represented for that reason.
