Kiper has Locker at No. 5, and a few other notes

Well, if Mel Kiper’s opinion means anything, Jake Locker’s draft status continues to only rise.
Kiper has Locker at No. 5 on his latest Big Board, though you’ll note he’s the No. 2 QB with Jimmy Clausen rated just above him at No. 4.
Kiper’s comment reads that Locker is a “developing talent whose physical tools are unmatched.” That sums it up pretty well.
In other news. …
— A blogger for the Seattle Weekly asks why Locker should continue to play for free and also imagines what the EA Sports college football game could look like next summer
— And in interesting non-Locker news, Greg Biggins has an update on UW target V.J. Fehoko of Honolulu in which he states he loved his trip to Washington over the weekend but intends to take visits to Texas Tech and Utah before deciding.
