Te’o-Nesheim to Shrine game

UW defensive tackle Daniel Te’o-Nesheim has been added to the roster for the West team for the East-West Shrine Game .
The game is Jan. 23 in Orlando, Fla. (having moved a few years ago out of the Bay Area, where it was a fixture for most of its 85 years).
Te’o-Neshiem joins LB Donald Butler in playing in an All-Star game — Butler is in the Senior Bowl Jan. 30.
Te’o-Nesheim set UW”s career sack record with 30, getting the mark in his last chance in the season finale against Cal. He’s generally projected as a late-round pick at best, so how he performs in the practices and the Shrine Game itself will be critical for his NFL prospects.
Also, UW coach Steve Sarkisian received an “A” from this Bleacher Report writer, who graded all the first-year coaches.
And you can see a quick interview of new Husky Deontae Cooper on the school’s official web site (look to right on the All-Access area). He’s off limits to the rest of us for now, so this is what you’ll get from him.
