Sporting News says Te’o-Nesheim only Husky invited to NFL Combine

We’ll break from all things USC to report on what The Sporting News says is the official invite list for the 2010 NFL Combine.
And according to the list, the only Husky invited is defensive end Daniel Te’o-Nesheim. There is mention that more seniors could be added later, and if so, one would think that LB Donald Butler might also get invited. He has been reported to be rising on draft lists.
By the way, here’s an explanation of how players get invited from the official web site for the Combine, which does not yet have a list of invitees.
The Huskies have not had a big presence at the Combine the last few years as Juan Garcia was the only player invited last season, and none were invited in 2008.
Te’o-Nesheim is generally regarded as a late-round pick, or possibly a free agent.
I counted 31 Pac-10 players on the list, led by eight from USC — WSU didn’t have any. And among those on the list is Stanford RB Toby Gerhart, who to my knowledge has not officially said yet he’s entering the draft, though is widely expected to go.
