Live chat at noon — and Thursday morning links

We’ll have our weekly live chat here today at noon, so see you then.
Now, onto some morning links:
— UW commits Colin Porter and Michael Hartvigson of Bothell are playing for Team USA in a game Saturday against a World Select Team. Here is info from the team’s web site. The game will be televised live Saturday at 9 a.m. on the NFL Network. Here’s a Miami Herald story with more details on the game.
— Buster Sports has an interview with ESPN recruiting analyst Tom Luginbill, who says he thinks UW has a top 25 class but not a top 10 class, noting that some of the players may not enroll in August (the two who seem most at risk are Chris Young and Melvin Davis, but it has sounded like the others should all make it in). He also says he would rate UW’s class fourth in the Pac-10 behind USC, Stanford and UCLA.
— ScoutNFLNetwork.com has a note in this item that Donald Butler was seen talking with representatives of the Raiders yesterday at the Senior Bowl.
— Defensive end Scott Crichton of Foss High in Tacoma has committed to Oregon State, according to this story
— The Oregonian says recent developments are good for the Ducks, and also has lots of other links from around the conference.
— UWTV will re-air its Husky Classic games on Sunday afternoons from 2-5. So this Sunday you can catch the 1991 UW-Cal game that it originally showed last Monday night. Next Monday’s Husky Classic game is the 1992 visit by Nebraska. And the following Monday the game will be the 1993 home contest against Stanford. Monday night games are shown at 7 p.m.
All for now.
