Friday night notes — How to watch Huskies this weekend

A quick post to serve as a final reminder of some of the ways you can see past, current and future UW football players in various states of activity this weekend.
— First, you can watch UC commits Colin Porter and Michael Hartvigson, each of Bothell High, in the Team USA vs. The World football game Saturday at 9 a.m. Seattle time on the NFL Network. Hartvigson, a tight end, is No. 88. Porter, a guard, is No. 75.
— Then, at 1 p.m., also on the NFL Network, you can watch the Senior Bowl and former Husky LB Donald Butler, who has been impressing scouts during practice sessions. Seahawks maven Danny O’Neil filed this story on Butler for Saturday’s paper.
— The school’s biggest indoor track meet of the season, the UW Invitational, will continue and conclude Saturday at the Dempsey Indoor. Only one football player will be participating — Cameron Elisara in the shot put. You can find all the details here. Elisara was bothered late in the season with a stinger/neck injury but obviously is doing well enough now to throw the shot.
— Also, here’s a little more detail on the Kona Schwenke situation from the Deseret News this afternoon.
All for now.
