Signing day press conference set, more notes

UW announced today that the Letter-of-Intent Signing Day press conference will be held at noon.
Coaches can’t talk about players until their signed LOIs are in, so sounds as if the Huskies are anticipating that they will get most, if not all, of their letters in early enough to talk about everyone by noon (fine with me to get it done early, that’s for sure).
The press conference will be available live on GoHuskies.com and I will also pass along as much as I can later in written form.
IN OTHER NEWS. …
— Pro Football Weekly includes Donald Butler in a list of five players who made a name for themselves during Senior Bowl practices this week. The Senior Bowl will be shown live tomorrow at 1 p.m. on the NFL Network.
— A Nebraska fan site has a little look ahead at UW.
— The Deseret News of Salt Lake City has this look at the Kona Schwenke situation. Schwenke is now reported to be looking at Notre Dame and UW after his commitment to BYU apparently fell through.
— Colleague Percy Allen notes that UW AD Scott Woodward turns 47 today.
All for now.
