Thursday links, notes — catching up on a couple former Huskies

Still untangling the Vancouver cobwebs. …
— Former UW WR Dane Looker is helping his wife coach the Rogers High girls basketball team.
— A reader passes along that a pair of former Huskies were in a Crossfit competition over the weekend in Monroe and did pretty well — Jon Lyon was seventh in the deadlift (five consecutive reps at 445 pounds) and 35th overall, Brad Vanneman at 103rd (results here).
Nick Daschel looks at Pac-10 RBs heading into the spring and includes UW among the healthy teams.
— The Tucson Citizen has an interview with Warren Moon in which he says he likes the direction of the UW program.
Ken Goe with lots of interesting Pac-10 links, including the news that Oregon and Oregon State weren’t all that self-sufficient financially last year.
Greg Biggins has an Insider story on a couple more prospects with offers from UW, including LB Tre Madden of Mission Viejo, the same school as 2010 UW signee Michael Criste. The other player mentioned is G Siaosi Aioni of Covina, Calif.
All for now.
