First, a couple of late-night links:
— Here’s my story for the Friday paper, already posted on-line, on Anthony Boyles and his transition to cornerback. As noted in the story, Boyles says he’s up to about 200 pounds now having arrived at UW in Jan. 2008 at around 173 — he said he dropped about 10 pounds from his high school senior year wait during the time off in the fall of 2007 while he got his academic situation sorted out, something that surely didn’t help as he tried to get on the field his first two years.
— Here’s Coach Sark’s daily top five, with Jesse Callier earning player of the day honors — many of us watching on the sidelines also thought Callier seemed to be having a good day — and the same Nick Montana-to-Jordan Polk play I mentioned earlier earning play of the day honors.
— Steve Sarkisian is also the lead picture on Rivals.com at the moment with a story on UW’s aggressive early recruiting in California for the Class of 2011 that has already netted four key commits out of that state. It’s a pay story so you have to subscribe to get it, but here it is.
Now for a few pictures from today’s practice:
