Former Husky Reggie Williams to get a tryout with Seahawks

Danny O’Neil of our staff is among those reporting today that former UW receiver Reggie Williams (pictured in a 2005 photo to the right) will receive a tryout with the Seahawks next week.
As O’Neil details in this entry on his Seahawks blog, Williams will work out with the team during its minicamp Tuesday through Thursday.
Williams remains the holder of most of the meaningful receiving records in UW history, including career receptions — 243 catches in three years (Paul Skansi is second with 161).
He also had a knack for coming up big in the Apple Cup — click to the 24-second mark of this video for one of his greatest catches in that game:
