Monday night links — Locker’s Heisman competition, and more

Quick reminder of the roundtable tonight on Northwest Sports Radio.
Now for a few links. …
— Missed this last week, but CollegeFootballNews.com had a pretty exhaustive look at what it feels are the 10 leading Heisman candidates for 2010. Jake Locker isn’t included, which surely won’t make some of you happy, but it’s a good primer on his competition.
— Some of you also may view this as another slight of Locker as NationalChamps.net released its All-American team today. The only Husky mentioned is Locker as an honorable mention. Only four Pac-10 players are on the first team — OSU WR James Rodgers, UCLA PK Kai Forbath, UCLA safety Rahim Moore and Stanford kicker returner Chris Owusu.
— ESPN.com’s Ivan Maisel has an overview of spring practice happenings around the country and mentions Locker to note that the Pac-10 “will still have the best collection of quarterbacks of any FBS conference.
— Here’s one you’ll like — DraftSeason.com predicts that UW will go 9-3 this season, losing only to Nebraska, USC and Stanford (so obviously winning in Eugene against Oregon).
Greg Biggins has an update on Austin Sefarian-Jenkins in a pay story on ESPN.com. No real news on his recruitment — he lists a number of schools that he’s interested in, including Washington, but no real specifics.
All for now.
