Tuesday p.m. notes — Pac-10 meetings this week, and more

A few quick links worth passing along:
— UW coach Steve Sarkisian is among those attending the Pac-10 meetings this week in Phoenix while much of the rest of his staff hits the road recruiting for the May evaluation period — only assistant coaches can be on the road recruiting right now. Jon Wilner has an interesting look at what may or may not happen during the Pac-10 meetings.
— As some of you pointed out in the chats, look as if former UW QB Ronnie Fouch has the lead for the QB job at Indiana State. He was 13-19 for 122 yards in the team’s spring game recently.
Ted Miller listed Deontae Cooper and Will Shamburger among his Pac-10 breakout players.
— Syracuse has announced that leading rusher Delone Carter, suspended after a recent assualt arrest, will be allowed back in school and on the team in the fall, something that has the victim unhappy. Carter and Syracuse play at UW Sept. 11.
— USC AD Mike Garrett wrote in a blog post today he hopes the school will hear the results of the NCAA investigation into the alleged rules violations soon. He’s not the only one.
All for now.
