Saturday links — Notes on Te’o, Te’o-Nesheim, and more

The oldest’s doubleheader is already rained out, so time to scour the net. Here’s some of what I found. …
Shiloah Te’o, a former BYU safety who had been rumored at one point possibly headed to UW, will instead enroll at Oregon State.
— ESPN 710 Seattle had an apparently spirited discussion of the Jake Locker-Andrew Luck debate Friday that included comments from Marques Tuiasosopo.
— Here’s an assessment of how Daniel Te’o-Nesheim has looked in Philadelphia’s most recent OTA (it’s about halfway down). And actually, here’s another one.
Nick Montana is among those participating in one of Steve Clarkson’s “Dreammaker Tour” stops this weekend.
— Incoming cornerback recruit Gregory Ducre was on a relay team that finished second in the LA City Section finals. The story also mentions Bejon Bryant, the son of famed former UW RB Beno Bryant winning the 300 Intermediate Hurdles. Here’s another story I found on Bejon Bryant, and it sounds as if his future is in track and not at UW.
— Incoming OL recruit James Atoe won the Oregon 5A state title in the shot put Friday.
— The Sporting News rates Syracuse No. 99 in the country and has this preview. TSN also has Arizona State at No. 97 but says it wouldn’t take much for the Sun Devils to surprise.
All for now.
