Live chat at noon

Seems like an awful lot going on out there in the college football world for a June, so lots to talk about. So let’s chat today at noon.
Among the topics we can discuss is expansion with the Pac-10 beginning meetings today in San Francisco. However, my hunch is that there may not be as much happening on the expansion front at those meetings as some are speculating. I see where Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott gave a more emphatic denial that anything will happen this weekend in a separate exchange with the LA Times yesterday in the wake of the rumors that originated elsewhere.
From what I can gather, the Pac-10 focus remains mostly on a smaller expansion focusing on Texas (which then would also mean Texas A&M coming along, as well).
But with conference meetings happening everywhere, sure to be another spate of speculation today.
However, what we won’t have to discuss is the report on infractions at USC, which doesn’t appear to be coming down today despite reports to the contrary.
