Lunchtime links — More on expansion, and Hundley pares his list

A few more links worth passing along:
— Here’s the view from Pat Forde of ESPN.com, who says this is just a temporary solution.
Ted Miller looks at what’s next for the Pac-10, and some of the challenges a 12-team league will present. Interestingly, Miller quotes a source saying the Zipper theory for divisions has “no traction.” If so, that means UW would be in a North Division with the Bay Area and other NW schools. And if so, that means missing out on an LA trip/visit every few years or so. We’ll see how everyone likes expansion the first time the home schedule features Utah instead of USC.
— Sports Business Daily has a good wrapup of the TV ramifications of expansion, noting the new Big 12 contracts could last 18 years.
Jon Wilner says a Pac-12 will net each conference school 25-30 percent more than they get now, opposed to at least doubling their intake, as would have happened with the Pac-16.
Brett Hundley, a QB from Chandler, Ariz., who may be UW’s most sought-after player at that position at the moment, has cut his list of schools to five — Texas A&M, UW, Arizona, Oregon and UCLA.
All for now.
