Wednesday p.m. links — More on Locker’s New York trip

Some of the interviews from Jake Locker’s second day of his media blitz — in New York on Tuesday — are starting to emerge
First is this video from SI.com featuring a one-on-one with Locker. SI.com’s Stewart Mandel also wrote about it in his latest mailbag, in which he says that the trip created an awareness of Locker that might have been missing previously.
IN OTHER NEWS. …
Dave Curtis of The Sporting News has a quick Q-and-A with UW coach Steve Sarkisian in which Sark says it would not surprise him if the Huskies were in the hunt for the Pac-10 title with two games remaining.
— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller says the UW-Nebraska matchup is one of six “statement games” for the Pac-10 this season.
— TSN also has this story on how the bidding war over the Pac-10’s TV rights is already developing.
— A Salt Lake columnist rates Utah fifth among football programs in the new Pac-10, one spot ahead of UW.
All for now.
