Locker given third-best odds to win Heisman

Okay, so to make it clear, I don’t encourage gambling (largely because I’m so bad at it).
That out of the way, I often turn to gambling sites for material on here, if for no other reason than I think the people who look at this stuff solely through financial terms may have the most objective view of where things really stand.
So for those who have asked what kind of legitimate shot Jake Locker has to win the Heisman Trophy, I give you this list posted today from BetUS.com of the favorites for the 2010 award.
As you can see, Locker is third, at plus-800 on the money line (read this for a good explainer of how all of that works).
The two players ahead of Locker are 2009 Heisman winner Mark Ingram of Alabama (at plus-350) and Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor (at plus-500).
Interestingly, the second Pac-10 player on the list is Stanford QB Andrew Luck at plus-1600. USC QB Matt Barkley and OSU RB Jacquizz Rodgers are each at plus-2000 and Oregon RB LaMichael James at plus-3000.
