Picture day set for Aug. 15

The date for what is annually one of the most popular events for UW fans — Picture Day — has been set.
As Coach Sark’s blog details, the date is Aug. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Yes, that’s again a Sunday, a departure from all the years it was a Saturday.
The dates for all significant events are starting to fall into place.
To refresh on a few:
— Pac-10 Media Day in Pasadena is July 29 (there is also a separate media day type event being held in New York featuring all 10 Pac-10 coaches at the W Hotel in New York on July 27).
— Players are set to officially report on Aug. 8;
— The first practice is Aug. 9.
— It is expected again that practices will be held basically every day except on Sundays during August.
— Picture Day is Aug. 15.
— The Raise the Woof celebration (details also in the link) is Aug. 27.
— First game is at BYU on Sept. 4.
