Wrapping up media day

I want to make sure you see our print/on-line coverage of media day that includes some different stuff than I got on the blog:
— First off is the main story on the poll and the Huskies, with some thoughts from Steve Sarkisian;
— Next is the notebook, which includes items on every team, including Rick Neuheisel’s thoughts on the Josh Shirley situation. Neuheisel also said that he and UW coach Steve Sarkisian have not talked about Shirley but indicated it wasn’t necessary, that he had no ill will toward UW or Shirley. He also said that UCLA didn’t have to release the three players from their letters, that the letters just became null and void once the players were not allowed to enroll;
— Finally is a column by Bud Withers on the situation at USC.
— Here’s the official quotes from the Pac-10 of the sessions on the podium.
— If you possibly need more, Ted Miller should have you covered.
