Monday morning notes

The first practice is now less than six hours away. Here are a few news and notes in the interim. …
— First, remember our live chat on here today at noon.
— Also, I’ll be on ESPN 710 Seattle at 10 a.m. with Brock Huard and Mike Salk to talk about the Huskies. I’m scheduled to do some more regular appearances with them this year, so once I know all the details I’ll pass it on.
— CoachSark’s blog lays out the schedule for the first day as well as providing the rules for the first few days of camp.
Jake Locker is No. 24 on Rivals.com’s countdown of the top 100 players in the country.
— The Sporting News asks if UW’s defense will be able to stop anyone this year.
— Seahawks.com has a picture of Locker talking with Lawyer Milloy at Seahawks’ practice yesterday (with Mason Foster in the background).
— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller says it should be a wild ride in the Pac-10 this year.
— UW’s not mentioned here, but an interesting countdown by ESPN.com’s Mark Schlabach of the 10 biggest stories of the college football off-season.
Daniel Te’o-Nesheim is playing with the Eagles’ first unit in nickel packages.
All for now.
