Tuesday morning links —- Kearse named to the Biletnikoff Watch List, and more

A reminder that the Huskies will hit the field at around 3 p.m. today for the second practice of fall camp, a workout similar to yesterday’s on tap with helmets the only equipment to be worn.
Here are some links. …
— What Steve Sarkisian is calling “The Sark 5” on his site includes naming the Jake Locker-to-Jermaine Kearse 80-yarder as the play of the day, and praise for Alameda Ta’amu, Sione Potoa’e and Kevin Smith.
Jermaine Kearse has been named to the watch list of The Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the top WR in the country.
Ted Miller has UW fifth in his updated Pac-10 power ratings.
— Something called Boxscorenews.com rates the Pac-10 QBs and has Locker No. 1.
— No UW players, but an interesting look at freshmen to watch from Heisman Pundit.
— Here’s a
pretty exhaustive report on day two of BYU’s practice.
— The suspension for Syracuse’s leading rusher, Delone Carter, has been lifted. He had been suspended after an arrest for misdemeanor assault. Lots more stuff here on Syracuse, which also opened practice on Monday.
— As Nebraska’s practice opens, the team has a three-headed quarterback battle.
— Boise State graces the regional cover of Sports Illustrated’s college football preview.
Jeremiah Masoli talked to the media for the first time yesterday.
— Optimism at WSU, as well as lots of Pac-10 links, from Vince Grippi.
— Lots of good Oregon and Pac-10 links here from Ken Goe.
— Those links include Rick Neuheisel saying anything less than competing for the Pac-10 title will be a disappointment this year at UCLA.
All for now.
