Friday morning links — UW recruiting update, and more

Just about to the end of the second week of UW’s fall camp, with just two weeks to go now until the first game. …
— For my main story today I wrote an update of UW’s recruiting so far, also laying out how big the next couple weeks could be (Kasen Williams, Brett Hundley). I’ll pass along a few more tidbits from the recruiting experts I talked to later.
— CoachSark’s site has the schedule for today — practices at roughly 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. You’ll note this pretty much marks the halfway point of camp, with today featuring the 14th and 15th practices of what will be 29 prior to playing BYU.
— Here’s the practice report from GoHuskies.com.
— Most of the news out of BYU continues to concern its conference status. But here’s a practice report from yesterday noting that coach Bronco Mendenhall said there is “nothing new” on the QB race. Here’s more on BYU’s practice.
Ted Miller says Jermaine Kearse is UW’s big play guy.
More later from practice.
