Thursday morning notes

I’m up at UW for the final morning practice of fall camp. I’ll have a report afterward.
For now, a few links:
— For my story for today’s paper, I wrote about Keith Price making a run at the backup QB job. Frankly, I think he’s probably the guy but that there’s probably a chance Steve Sarkisian never says it before the BYU game. Sarkisian was on KJR-AM this morning and was asked again about the backup job and said again that he isn’t saying for now. (By the way, no real news from that interview, though it was interesting in some of the philosophical stuff that was talked about. I’d imagine you can find it later on the KJR-AM web site).
— Here is the schedule for today. Notice the second practice today is closed.
Jake Locker is on the 30-player watch list for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.
— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller looks at the top restaurants and bars to visit if you come to a UW game.
— Lots of stuff leaking today that BYU may remain in the Mountain West Conference.
Vince Grippi with lots of Pac-10 links.
— Good story in the LA Times on the two Arizona teams.
All for now.
