Afternoon links — Viewing parties, TV info and a little bit more

I’ve gotten lots of requests for a post listing viewing parties, so I thought I would do that now.
Here is the official list of viewing parties from the UW Alumni Association. If you’re holding your own, feel free to post it in the comments section below.
And if you still have questions on the TV situation for this game, GoHuskies.com has a detailed writeup with all of the official info.
You can also find more info on official activities related to the game on the Blog Down to Washington blog.
Also, I got one e-mail Husky fan who lives in Salt Lake who passed on this travel tip:

“The drive to Provo from SLC on game day is a beast. Road construction on I-15 in Utah County is going to create a major Charlie Foxtrot (editor’s note — I assume that’s not a good thing). Give yourself at least one-and-half-to-two hours travel time. I would suggest exiting I-15 in Orem and taking Center St into Provo. Parking on BYU’s campus is free — Stadium lots do charge.”

All good info I’ll make sure to forward to the official Seattle Times chauffeur for this trip, Steve Kelley.
IN OTHER NEWS. …
— MaxPreps.com has a look at Washington’s recruiting.
— There’s no shortage of stuff to read on BYU’s move to Indepedence. But here’s some particularly good info from Dennis Dodd.
— SportsMemo.com says to take the Huskies.
