Friday morning links

Just about time to get to the airport and hop on a plane to Salt Lake City, so onto the links. …
— For my story for Friday’s paper I wrote about Cody Bruns, who finally appears in position to contribute significantly in the rotation at receiver.
— The Salt Lake Tribune says BYU will probably go running-back-by-committee and a story on Steve Sarkisian’s return to Provo.
— The Deseret News looks at a matchup of two Washington-bred QBs named Jake and reviews the 2008 game in Seattle. A Deseret News columnist also wonders if two QBs isn’t one too many for BYU. And the paper also has a notebook leading with Cort Dennison’s return and including a BYU injury report (which isn’t big).
— Here’s BYU coverage from the Provo Daily Herald.
Jon Wilner picks the Huskies and calls them “the best bet of the weekend.”
Kerry Eggers of the Portland Tribune picks UW to go 6-6 this season.
— VegasSportsOdds.com says to take the Huskies and the points while an analyst for MadduxSports.com says he’s surprised that BYU is favored.
All for now.
