The mourning after links

Not that you may want to read anymore about this one, but here goes anyway. …
— Here’s my game story, Steve Kelley’s column focusing on Jake Locker, a sidebar on Jake Heaps, and the notebook leading off with Steve Sarkisian’s concerns about UW’s short-yardage performance. Here also are the game stats.
— Here’s the game story from the Salt Lake Tribune focusing on the ending and BYU’s use of two QBs. Trib columnist Kurt Kraghtorpe says BYU’s defense saved the day. The Trib also looks at Jake Locker’s day. Find more of their coverage here.
— Here’s the game story from the Deseret News, a sidebar that notes that BYU seemed to win the battle of the halftime adjustments, and all the rest of their coverage.
— And here’s all the coverage from the Provo Daily Herald.
Jon Wilner wraps up the first weekend for the Pac-10 and calls UW the most disappointing.
— The Huskies now play Syracuse, which beat Akron 29-3 yesterday. Get full coverage here.
Brett Hundley will apparently make his announcement tomorrow at 10:30 a.m., according to the Arizona Republic. He’s deciding between UW and UCLA. ESPN.com’s Greg Biggins, who usually has a good read on these things, writes that “the feeling right now is the Bruins may have the upper hand in this one.”
— Bad as Husky fans may feel, it’s not as bad as things are at WSU right now..
All for now.
