Brett Hundley commits to UCLA

A tough weekend for the Huskies continued this morning as one of their top remaining recruiting targers for the Class of 2001, QB Brett Hundley of Chandler, Ariz., announced today he will attend UCLA.
That was the conventional wisdom of where he was headed after he cancelled a planned visit to UW two weekends ago.
The 6-4, 217-pounder is rated by Scout.com as the No. 6 QB in the country and had visited UW twice last spring.
That means that while UW has put together an impressive list so far for the Class of 2011, the Huskies are still without a quarterback. They need to get at least one as Jake Locker graduates after this year — UW has just two other scholarship QBs on its roster in redshirt frosh Keith Price and true freshman Nick Montana.
One QB UW is now likely to pursue more heavily is Adam Pittser of Richmond, Ill. He is doing a diary for ESPN Rise and wrote last week that the Huskies have contacted him but hadn’t yet offered. That might change now.
