Wednesday lunch links — ABC coverage map out, and more confidence in Lincoln

First off, here’s the ABC coverage map for the Washington-Nebraska game Saturday, showing it is going to 51 percent of the nation, including Texas and much of the Northeast. So you can now plan accordingly if it’s not being shown where you live.
And as this AP story indicates, it will be a confident Nebraska team rolling into town Saturday.
The story quotes Nebraska safety Rickey Thenarse saying of Jake Locker that: “We want to go out and play good defense and make him prove to the world that he’s a great quarterback. We don’t want to put him on no pedestal. We want to go out and prove that we can take down a good quarterback with our defense. We’re a pretty confident group. We’ll just see on Saturday.”
We’ll see indeed, in 51 percent of the country.
IN OTHER NEWS. …
Mel Kiper Jr. still has Locker No. 1 on his NFL Draft Big Board this week. Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara is No. 6. Kiper in a chat today says he’s excited to see the UW-Nebraska game to see “the best CB tandem in college against Jake Locker.”
Vince Grippi picks Nebraska 21-17.
— Lots of good stuff on the game in this chat from Big Red Today.
Ted Miller says Jermaine Kearse’s stock is rising, UW’s fourth-down offense is falling.
— Here’s the USA Today team report on Nebraska, and UW.
UW again practices at 1 p.m. today. We’ll have more here after the workout.
