Tuesday practice update

The Huskies are off the field following their Tuesday morning practice.
It was a full-pads workout that seemed pretty upbeat — not sure you’d know UW had just lost at home by 35.
Cort Dennison, Jesse Callier and Victor Aiyewa were all in red. And Senio Kelmete sat out for the second straight day while ill.
Dennison remains out with a concussion, and UW coach Steve Sarkisian said Aiyewa also received a concussion in Saturday’s game. Not sure what Callier’s deal is but it looked precautionary as he participated in all of the workout, but simply wore a red jersey. Dennison and Aiyewa did not participate in contact drills.
With Kelemete again out, Erik Kohler took all the snaps at left tackle with Greg Christine at left guard and the rest of the line the same — Drew Schaefer at center, Ryan Tolar at right guard and Cody Habben at right tackle.
James Johnson also took part in practice for the second straight day and made a few tough catches and said later he thinks he’s at about 90 percent and should have no trouble being ready for the USC game.
Also, a few of us talked to Jake Locker after practice. I’ll have that up soon.
