With a bye week, a little slower than usual. …
—- Here’s my story for today’s paper wrapping up what Jake Locker had to say Tuesday.
Ted Miller says rumors of UW’s return to relevancy “appear to have been greatly exaggerated.”
— Here’s the Arizona Daily Star’s Pac-10 notebook, rating UW ninth in the conference this week.
Jon Wilner ranks UW eighth, ahead of Cal and WSU, and also takes a really early look at Pac-10 bowl possibilities.
— The Tucson Citizen has some thoughts around the conference.
— The LA Times looks at USC’s tailback situation. The LA Times also notes that Matt Barkley has a 9-2 TD-to-Interception rate so far, and has an injury update (never too early to start looking ahead).
Vince Grippi with lots of other Pac-10 news and notes.
— No stats to pass along on Daniel Te’o-Nesheim as he was again inactive on Sunday.
All for now.
