The Huskies are off this week, but the college football world continues to spin. ..
— The school’s official web site, GoHuskies.com, takes a look at UW heading into the bye.
— The San Jose Mercury News has a story on Joe Montana watching his sons playing QB — Nate at Notre Dame and Nick at UW.
Jon Wilner offers his Pac-10 picks and somewhat scarily, agrees with mine almost completely. Former UW Daily staffer Christian Caple, now working on the Palouse, also picks USC to win big Saturday.
— The Denver Post looks at all the various Pac-10 options for splitting up divisions, a title game and revenue sharing.
Daniel Te’o-Nesheim could be active for the Eagles this week — he has yet to be active this season.
Jan Jorgensen, who blocked the PAT for BYU against UW in 2008, is making his MMA debut this weekend against a former UCLA lineman.
All for now.
