Quick practice update

UW is off the field following its Wednesday practice. I’ll have more detailed quotes later, but here are a few quick notes:
— QB Jake Locker again did not participate in team drills, but did to a lot of individual work. Steve Sarkisian said the issue now is also the quad injury he suffered early in the ASU game, indicating that’s a bigger deal now than the sickness. Quad injury surely another reason Locker didn’t run as much Saturday. Keith Price took bulk of snaps and Nick Montana ran the backups during the team period.
— Sarkisian, though, termed Locker as “probable” to play.
— The coach said WR Devin Aguilar is doutbtful. Aguilar didn’t do much during practice.
Erik Kohler again did not practice.
— In a new injury, TE Chris Izbicki has hurt his back and didn’t do much in practice. Marlion Barnett took increased snaps at TE.
— The revamped OL of all week remained in place, with Greg Christine at center, Colin Porter at guard and Drew Schaefer at right tackle, with Cody Habben working with the second team. Sarkisian said only that the Huskies are looking at some things and wouldn’t say that is how the starting unit will look Saturday.
More later.
