Monday night links — Updating revenue sharing and UA’s QB situation

A few items worth passing along tonight, including this story by Bud Withers on the latest Pac-10/12 revenue sharing proposal.
As the story notes, USC and UCLA could get $2 million more than everyone else until a certain threshold is reached.
Also tonight. …
— Here’s my story for the Tuesday paper updating the Arizona quarterback situation. I usually do a look at the opponent for later in the week, but I was able to speak with UA QB Matt Scott — who will take over for Nick Foles — and figured that’s something people would want to know about immediately. As the story indicates, Scott sounded pretty confident that he can do the job in Foles’ absence, and says he’s much better than he was last year when he started the first three games, then was benched in favor of Foles.
— Here also is some of what Jake Locker had to say in the weekly “Jake’s Take” feature.
— Foles, by the way, is reportedly in Texas getting his knee examined.
— Here are Arizona’s game notes (and you’ve got to like the ability to get the word ‘fracas’ in there). Arizona’s depth chart is on page 16 here.
— The Tucson Citizen’s Anthony Gimino notes UA’s backup QB now is little-used junior Bryson Beirne.
Mark Schlabach has UW headed to the Sun Bowl to face Georgia Tech, while Andrea Adelson has UW going to Vegas to face Utah in ESPN.com’s weekly bowl projections.
— Finally, ESPN.com’s Ted Miller has a good look at the challenges awaiting the Pac-10’s bowl hopefuls.
